Time Zone Representatives
We have received numerous requests for Time Zone Representatives from the Eastern and Central Time Zones. We are stll looking for Representative applications from the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones, but will consider applications from any zone until October 8, 2009. Finalists will be notified by October 9, 2009 and Representatives will be selected on October 14, 2009 with the final list being posted here. 10-15-2009 Rules are being given out
Each day from 10/15/2009 a new rule will be given out. The rules can be seen at Contingency Foundation The Contingency Foundation
Rule #1 - "No air transportation is permitted under any circumstances, evenwithin your own zone. Violations will result in swift disciplinary action."
Rule #2 - "The Contingency Foundation symbol will indicate that something important is hidden within 500 yards of the symbol."
Rule #3 - "Primary Objectives must be completed to move on to the next set of objectives. Secondary objectives will earn bonuses."
Rule #4 - "Once A New Set of Objectives Has Been Obtained, any Previous Secondary
Objectives Will Become Void."
Rule #5 - "AFTER THE SQUARE HAS BEEN COMPLETED, ONLY TWO MOVES PER DAY ARE PERMITTED, NO EXCEPTIONS."
Rule #6 - "Each zone can earn up to a maximum of contingency three flags. These flags hold specific predetermined abilities or powers"
Rule #7 - "Once earned, a flag can be used at any time"
Rule #8 - "Collected items should be treated like Fraternity or Sorority bibles. These items are rare, useful, and the property of your respective zone, as well as the Foundation"
Rule #9 - -"Travel limits and durations will be relayed to citizens via the zone representatives."
Rule #10 - "Trespassing onto private property is a serious criminal offense and will not be tolerated. Please respect private property, if you are unsure of whether or not you should be somewhere, you most likely shouldn't."
Rule #11 - "Override objectives are common for all
zones and may occur periodically given
certain circumstances. These objectives
must be completed before any primary or
secondary objectives."
Rule #12 - "-Zone representatives are limited to
traveling only the distance that each
specified when signing up. The list is as
follows."
-ZN5 — 1 Mile
-ZN6 — 50 Miles
-ZN7 — 50 Miles
-ZN8 — 50 Miles
Rule #13 - "A zone may challenge any of the other
zones directly, but can only do this one
time. Challenges have a set of rules their
own that will only be explained once a
zone has issued a challenge and only to
the zones that are involved in the
challenge."
Rule #14 - "Cameras, Videocameras, and/or Cell
Phones With Those Features Are Essential
Items That Each Zone Should Have Access
To At All Times."
Rule #15 - "Deliberately tampering with another
zone's objectives (aside from what the rules allow)
is grounds for disciplinary action for the
offending zone. The decisions of the
foundation are final."
Rule #16 - "Additional Rules And Instructions Will
Follow Tomorrow And More Will Be Added
Throughout The Test. If Any Rule Overrules
One Or More Of The Above, It Will Be Noted
At The Time Of Disclosure."

November 7, 2009 - New Representative and new rule added
New ZN8 REP/Rules Updated
Brian Morton has stepped down as the ZN8 Representative and has been replaced by Sylvaness.
Rule #17
Should the need to replace a representative in a particular zone become necessary, the citizens of that zone will determine the new representative by way of a vote. Depending upon certain circumstances, the foundation may prohibit specific citizens from becoming that replacement and shall have final say in the matter. A replacement representative will be limited to the same travel limits set by the original representative of that zone.
The end of a day is 20:00 Z*0 time and a new day begins at 20:01:01. The week ends on sunday at 20:00 Z*0 time and a new one begins at 20:00:01.

November 17, 2009 - Poll Results
"The poll results have been tabulated and ZN6 had the most participants! They will receive a time bonus of 60 minutes at the first check-in and have been given their final hint for free on the first clue. The meaning behind the polls and results have been sent to all representatives. Information on how to earn your first Contingency Flag has also been provided. Please contact your representative for more details. All other zones will receive their respective final hints at no penalty tomorrow November 18, at 20:00 Z*0 Time. December 4, 2009 - Clue Announcement
Announcment under the "latest" at the Contingency Foundation Website
"The first clue still has not been solved by any zone. We applaud those who have stuck with the clue and made it as far as you have. One final hint for all zones. Simplification means this. Eliminate the progression after everything else has been done. That is the last clue you will have to solve using a decoder of any type. That is not what this test is about. After the initial clue, the real test begins. If a zone solves the first clue, a time extension will be enabled for your zone. The new check-in time and date will be revealed in your second clue. We suggest you get cracking!"

The second clue has been solved by Zone 8 - Came in first 2 times in a row now. It is clear who the leader is.
January 4, 2010 - 6 clues in total to find the compass

" Only four more clues remain to be solved and they will have the location of their zone's compass(There are 6 for each zone). All zones now have the second clue and the test is in full swing. The deadline for the first check-in is January 25, 2010 at 4:30 PM Z*0 Time. Best of luck to all zones!"
January 10, 2010 Race Begins to Find the Compass
THE RACE BEGINS. EACH ZONE HAS THEIR CLUES SOLVED AND EACH ZONE HAS BEEN GIVEN DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO RECEIVE THEIR COMPASS AND WHERE TO RECEIVE THEIR COMPASS. January 14, 2010 The Compasses are found at the Psychics!
Each Zone has solved their clues which led them to different psychics in their zones. One person from each zone was picked to attend a psychic reading and then receive their compass at the end of the reading. Each team was given a password to tell the psychic so that the psychic would know you are the person who gets the compass and special reading.
